Lo-Kart Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 September 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using the Lo-Kart driver app.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Lo-Kart app (“the App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What Lo-Kart is

Lo-Kart provides a driver application with a built-in GPS taxi meter. The App measures the distance and time of a trip and applies a configured tariff to calculate a fare, which the driver can use to charge the passenger. Lo-Kart is a tool for drivers — it does not itself provide transport, dispatch passengers, or process the payment between driver and passenger.

3. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to drive and operate a taxi/for-hire vehicle in your area.
You are responsible for holding all licences, permits, registrations and insurance required by local law.
You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. The meter & fares

Fare estimates. The fare shown by the meter is calculated from GPS-measured distance and time using the tariff configured for your operator. GPS accuracy, signal loss, device limitations and route conditions can affect measurements, so the calculated fare is an estimate. You are solely responsible for the fare you charge and for complying with any legally regulated tariffs, rounding rules and receipts that apply where you operate.

Lo-Kart is not responsible for the accuracy of any fare, or for disputes between you and your passenger about a fare.
Any payment for a trip is collected directly by you from your passenger. Lo-Kart does not process that payment.

5. Acceptable use

Use the App lawfully and only for its intended purpose.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems.
Do not use the App to harass, defraud, or endanger any person.

6. Location permission

The meter requires access to your device’s location to function. By using the metered-trip features you consent to the App collecting location as described in the Privacy Policy. You may revoke this permission at any time, but the meter will not work without it.

7. Availability & changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue features of the App at any time. We aim to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lo-Kart is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost earnings, or fare disputes arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see Account Deletion). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the App.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Lo-Kart is established. [Confirm governing law / jurisdiction.]
