Lo-Kart Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Lo-Kart driver app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Introduction

Lo-Kart (“Lo-Kart”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides a driver application with a built-in GPS taxi meter that helps drivers calculate a fare from the distance travelled and time taken, so they can charge their passengers. Lo-Kart is used by drivers; it is a tool for the driver’s own trips and fare calculation. This policy applies to the Lo-Kart driver app and this website. By using Lo-Kart you agree to the practices described here.

Data we collect

Account & profileYour name, mobile number, email address, password, profile photo, and preferred language when you register and use the app.
Driver & vehicle detailsWhere required, driving licence, vehicle registration and type, and identity documents you upload for verification.
Precise location (GPS)While a trip is running, we collect your device’s precise GPS location to power the taxi meter — measuring distance travelled and time so the fare can be calculated. See “Location” below.
Trip & fare recordsStart/end points, distance, duration, waiting time, the tariff applied, and the calculated fare for each metered trip.
Device & usageDevice model, operating system, app version, language, crash and diagnostic logs, and basic usage events to keep the app working.
Support communicationsMessages you send us and the details needed to respond.
About passengers. Lo-Kart is a driver tool. The app does not require your passengers to have an account, and we do not knowingly collect passengers’ personal data through the app. A trip record stores the fare, distance and time — not passenger identity — unless a driver chooses to enter it.
